Just A Ghost

“I like so many things about this song, but I think my favorite is the sense of dreamy loneliness it conveys. I wanted to make a piece that reflected that, along with the fleeting nature of the subjects’ relationship with the lines of smoke still holding them together as their connection fades. Plus, I think the “bad match” metaphor from the early on in the song was excellent. Metaphors might just be the cure for heartbreak.”
